VB Rescue is the heartbeat of the Virginia Beach community and is a system of 10 individual volunteer rescue squads, in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Medical Services.

More than 500 volunteers and career EMS providers work with public safety partners to keep our community safe and healthy. Together, the trained and certified providers of VB Rescue are dedicated to delivering effective services for more than 54,000 emergency calls on a yearly basis.
